London Buses route 487 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Willesden Junction and South Harrow stations, it is operated by Metroline. ==History== Route 487 commenced operating on 4 September 1999 between Willesden Junction and South Harrow via Park Royal, Alperton and Sudbury Hill replacing part of route 187. It was operated by London Traveller. The route was included in the 1 November 2002 sale of the business to Thorpes. Upon being re-tendered, route 487 passed to First London's Alperton garage on 6 March 2004.〔(Bus tender results Route 487 ) Transport for London 24 October 2003〕 It was reallocated to Willesden Junction on 28 June 2008.
